The glory of the sky on fire with every shade of red and orange at sunset. You can't even tell the clouds in the sky as they all melt into one big glorious burst of colour. The sand dunes turning shades of purple and grey until they meet the beach below. Upon which stands the wreck of Bad Eddie at Gweedore for more than four decades.
Such an image of majesty and fire..... stillness and calm. I absolutely enjoyed painting this picture, my most colourful sunset thus far.
Every evening last summer Anbaile.ie went live on Facebook in Gweedore, Donegal. So many beautiful sunsets filled the skies leaving me some beautiful images to paint.
