The blues of the sea and warmth of the sun are replicated throughout, inspiring words hidden within, maps, stencils and pure intuition bring this artwork together.  Who doesn’t have a desire to escape the daily chores – to hit the skies and far-off lands.  Find your own adventure and have your own new beginning.   

This artwork took well over 6-8 months to intuitively create.  My initial collage selection of the yellow VW evoked thoughts of summer holidays and friends together – happy times.  Summer colour palette of blues, teals, reds and yellows – adding collage, layering paint over and over, sanding down to reveal the history beneath and negatively painting to reveal the hot air balloon – ready to Find Your Adventure.   Sealed with cold wax.
